| This was my best race in 5 months! Then again it was my first race in 5 months. It was fun to race again after being off for much of Decmber and January with a back injury, then taking some time to try to get back in shape. It was a great day for a race with a cool start and sunny skies. My goal was to run under 20 minutes, so I was happy with a 19:38 finish and 2nd in my age group, plus my wife placed in her age group in the 10K. I was happy to pass an Inside-Out runner just before the 3 mile mark, but I really shouldn't gloat, she won the women's race overall :) |
