I hadn't run this race before, but the Spring Sprint website touted "a new flatter course." I know the North Hills area doesn't have many flat roads, so I still thought is would be a tough course, and I was right. My time for the race was 11 seconds slower that the previous week's Cary Road Race, but this sure felt alot harder. The weather was great, the course was nearly lined with blooming azaleas, and my family and several friends came out to run or cheer. Add in a real fire truck at the start/finish line for my son to play near and this made for a very fun event.
